In this exciting and challenging role with a worldwide leader, you? will design, develop, debug, and maintain software that is well documented and complies with current standards and best practices.?
You will also work with marketing to determine end-user requirements, manage or assist in managing the development of a product.
Mentor other software or test engineers.
Qualified candidates will have:
- A BSEE or equivalent education (Bachelor degree required)
- At least five years experience in software development.
- Experience with one or more real-time operating systems and proficiency in the C programming language.
- Ability to effectively develop in multiple programming languages and/or environments.
- Proficiency in configuring, maintaining and developing software for Ethernet-based networks.
- Ability to design, develop and maintain a large body of code.
- Good understanding of the purpose and use of version control systems (i.e. Perforce).
- Willingness to take ownership of product and to do what it takes to see it through to completion.
- Superior problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work without supervision
- Ability to travel
- Experience programming Digital Signal Processors preferred.
- Experience programming CPLD and FPGA products preferred.
